The fan-centric inshore stadium racing championship is underwritten by Larry Ellison, a passionate sailor who has been personally and financially committed to the growth and advancement of sailing for multiple decades.

Each grand prix event includes two competition days, featuring five fleet races leading to a final match race between the two leaders. Points are accumulated at each event throughout the season, culminating with a thrilling $1 million winner-takes-all championship race at the Grand Final.


  • All teams race F50 catamarans, which exceed speeds of 50 knots (nearly 60 mph/100kph)
