The SailGP Media Hub is a dedicated space for media to be able to cover our events remotely, get updated in between events as well as a support for accredited media onsite - including live stream and live updates, participation in press conferences and post race interviews with individual drivers.
Event Media Accreditation
All media require accreditation to attend SailGP events; please apply via the media accreditation portal. All applications will be reviewed within 10 working days.
Please note that the application process has changed for Season 4 and requires you to create an account (if you haven't been to the SailGP event in Season 4 but you had attended our events previously, you will have to register a new account), then log back in and apply for media accreditation for individual events of interest.
For media inquiries please contact us at media@sailgp.com.
Online Media Assets
Press releases and rights-free (for editorial use) images and video assets are available at the SailGP Media Hub.
SailGP is committed to offering the best possible environment for media seeking to cover its events. The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the limited available space and resources are dedicated to organizations that are in the business of newsgathering. SailGP respectfully recognizes the critical importance of media coverage across diverse publications, and appreciates the detail that goes into cultivating compelling stories and images. This protocol was created in an effort to provide all onsite working media with a positive, safe and productive experience.
Information and images collected at SailGP events are to be used solely for news and editorial purposes. No commercial use is permitted without prior consent.
Media accreditation to SailGP events is reserved for professional, paid journalists on assignment for a recognized media organization or working for a media agency with proven distribution. Freelance writers and photographers must provide proof of assignment. While forums are useful communications tools, they are not considered professional media outlets. Bloggers will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be asked to submit readership statistics.
A photographer accreditation grants access to all media facilities and services, however does not guarantee access to dedicated photo boats. Space on photo boats is extremely limited, and spots will be allocated day-of on a priority basis. SailGP will do its best to provide alternative photo positions onshore when possible, and offers on-demand, rights-free images by world renowned photographers, available at Images.SailGP.com.
Accreditation is allocated on an event-per-event basis.
