SailGP's Inspire program is proud to have WASZP as an Official Partner through its Inspire Racing x WASZP program. Thanks to foiling technology, the WASZP boat class is cool, fast, and thrilling, offering an entirely next-level experience - closer to surfing or gliding - allowing sailors the ability to fly at high speeds across the water, emulating SailGP athletes. With technical skill and sheer enjoyment at its core, sailing for young athletes under 21 years is taken to new heights.
Since 2019, MarkSetBot has been a partner of SailGP, with our robotic buoys serving as course marks for the SailGP Inspire program for local youth and as boundary markers. For many months, we’ve worked with SailGP on the next step—a goal of transitioning all F50 course racing marks to MarkSetBot.
For Rooster, SailGP Inspire goes much further than our partnership with them. It enables us to provide unbelievable opportunities for young sailors across the world, to have access to the latest technology, learning on and off the water alongside some of the biggest names and the most innovative boats in the sport. By providing our latest on the water kit and impact protection, these young enthusiastic sailors can get on the water safely and comfortably, ready for action.
Armstrong and SailGP share the belief that our experiences on the water are truly inspiring. Our partnership allows us to bring wing foiling’s accessibility, fun factor and potential for progression to riders of all levels in the Inspire program. We’re honored to give the next generation a chance to get inspired across SailGP’s global championship event venues.
At Vakaros, on-water experience is paramount, and their RaceSense technology is the latest in a long line of innovations bringing top-rate racing to all sailors. By equipping Inspire racers with their Atlas family of instruments, Vakaros brings F50-style racing with automatic OCS detection, timing, and mark locations to aspiring SailGP athletes.
Due to having a shared mission for more sustainability, ePropulsion is working in partnership with SailGP to provide 11 electric outboard motors for the league’s event support tenders in Season 2 and Season 3. Both ePropulsion Spirit and Navy motors were selected to power SailGP INSPIRE support boats, which has been a fantastic addition to the league’s community engagement program. ePropulsion and SailGP will continue to work together to help revolutionise the sports and entertainment industry focusing on an acceleration towards clean energy.
