The Dock is SailGP’s entirely free loyalty programme. Designed for the fans to earn points, engage, be inspired, get rewarded and converse with SailGP, the sport and the community. Each season is an opportunity for you to level up as far as you can through the tiers, showcasing your fandom as you progress. The Dock grants access to the sport unlike anything that has come before, enabling you to experience magic moments throughout the season. This is your championship and your race to become Champion.

You can earn points by completing activities. The activity must be accessed through The Dock to get your points, but you can earn by reading articles, watching videos, redeeming codes, completing quizzes, surveys, polls and inviting friends to join The Dock – plus much more.

All members of The Dock start each season on the lowest tier – Rookie - with zero points. Each season is an opportunity for you to level up as far as you possibly can through the tiers from Rookie to Champion, achieving medals and redeeming rewards. This is your championship. Due to the nature of the race calendar, the season starts just before the first event and ends just after the last event.

All members’ points will expire at the end of the season, with all members of The Dock starting the new season with zero points.

The Season Pass is your key to unlocking an enhanced, web3-powered fan experience within The Dock. It’s completely free for everyone who sets up a NEAR account in The Dock. With the Season Pass, members will have access to additional rewards, digital collectibles, and the chance to claim incredible experiences. The Season Pass will be your first collectible.

You level up through the tiers by earning points from activities. Although the points you earn are redeemable - and will fluctuate up and down as you earn points and redeem them against rewards - we will keep a total of your points earned and this will determine your tier level.

All members’ tiers will expire at the end of each season, following the completion of the final event of the season (insert date). Each season is your opportunity to progress as far as you can through the tiers, to unlock and redeem rewards, collectibles and earn medals. Each season will have unique rewards, collectibles and medals.

If you have enough points and the reward is accessible at your current tier, you can spend your points to redeem rewards from the reward tab. Depending on the reward you will either be able to access this immediately on a first come first served basis, or you will be entered into a draw to win the reward.

Yes, as long as you are 16-years-old and above, you can join the program from anywhere in the world.

NEAR – SailGP’s exclusive blockchain, NFT, web3 and token partner – is a carbon neutral blockchain network that enables members of The Dock to enjoy the benefits of web3 experiences, seamlessly through The Dock. Take ownership of key rewards and collectibles and commemorate your progress and journey with The Dock.

You can either create a new NEAR account, or link an existing NEAR account to your Dock profile. This can either be done during the registration process, or accessed through the collectibles tab if you decide to set it up at a later date. All new accounts will be created on your behalf by SailGP. At any point you can take full control of this account, when you will be required to take your seed phrases - your keys to accessing your account. If you decide to take your keys, it is really important that you keep these keys safe and private only to you.

Collectibles are SailGP’s NFTs (Non-Fungible-Tokens). NFTs are certificates of ownership for the collectibles that you redeem. The NFT proves that you are the true owner of a specific collectible. Collectibles can be earned simply by engaging with The Dock and progressing through the tiers, or you can spend your points to redeem collectibles – in the exact same way as a reward. Available collectibles can be accessed on the rewards tab, and any successfully redeemed collectibles can be viewed in your SailGP collectibles gallery, which houses your personal collection. Holding certain collectibles will also grant you additional benefits. See how many collectibles you can redeem, complete full collections and access everything The Dock has to offer.

The time it takes from the point of redeeming your collectible through to creating the NFT on the blockchain – the process known as minting - and then it being automatically airdropped into your NEAR account can take up to three hours, meaning that the same timeframe is required for the collectible to appear in your account and collectibles gallery. Please allow this time for your collectible to reach you. If it has been longer than this, please contact us.

Rewards will be redeemed either on a first come first served basis, or by using your points to enter a draw. If you have enough points and are in the correct tier to redeem a first come first served reward, and if the reward is still available, then you are guaranteed to get the reward. If the reward requires you to enter a draw, you will have to correctly answer a question, with the winner(s) being randomly selected from all the correct answers. Winners will be contacted if the reward needs to be delivered to you.

Medals are achievements for your engagement in The Dock. You will earn Medals for completing activities, redeeming rewards, progressing through tiers, and building your collectible collection. Requirements for unlocking medals is a secret, so explore The Dock and see what Medals of achievement you can uncover. Medals will be displayed on your home tab.

You can enter the code you have found on the code claim section on the home tab. Enter the code, click the CTA and receive your points.

By redeeming a reward that involves you being there in person, unless stated otherwise, you are confirming that you can attend the reward and again, unless otherwise stated, able to make your own travel and accommodation requirements. If you cannot attend you will not receive your points back as they will be classed as spent, and if decided we may select another winner.

All activities must be accessed through The Dock for you to earn points.
