SailGP’s first-ever NFT collections unveiled as part of its partnership with NEAR give fans a chance to own their own unique piece of SailGP history. In many cases, physical giveaways will accompany digital purchases while superfan collectors will be rewarded with exclusive SailGP experiences.
All four collections are affordable and based on values shared by SailGP and NEAR.
For Good | For Sport and Community | For Entertainment | For Fans
The For Good collection is focused around SailGP and NEAR’s shared ambition for a more sustainable future. Two of SailGP’s striking F50-inspired Earth Day posters have been turned into NFTs, with 10 editions released of each artwork. Fans who buy one of these 20 NFTs will be gifted a sustainably made T-shirt adorned with one of the Earth Day artworks.
The For Sport and Community collection is themed around SailGP events and local communities, and feature the locally designed artworks that feature in SailGP’s City Collection merchandise.
The For Entertainment collection will be be photo-driven and fan-focused, with SailGP’s award-winning photography forming the basis of these exclusive digital artworks. These NFTs will champion the edge-of-your-seat moments from SailGP’s full-throttle racing.
The For Fans collection will be the NFT entry point for SailGP fans. The NEAR X F50 digital badge will be displayed by proud SailGP fans online and will be distributed to anyone who attends a SailGP event, downloads the NEAR wallet or completes the digital single sign-on.
Fans will have their chance to buy their first NFT HERE.
The collections will be on display and available to buy at the @iamnotArt gallery - Chicago’s first physical NFT gallery - from June 16-17 during the T-Mobile United States Sail Grand Prix | Chicago at Navy Pier.
