SailGP drivers and athletes have been tested on their knowledge of the iconic city-state of Singapore ahead of this weekend’s Singapore Sail Grand Prix.

Athletes including Great Britain’s Ben Ainslie, New Zealand’s Jo Aleh and Switzerland’s Stuart Bithell were quizzed on the city, including the number of islands that make up the city and the original Sanskrit meaning of the name ‘Singapore’.

It comes as the nine-strong flying F50 fleet prepares to do battle this weekend as the eighth event of Season 3’s 11-strong calendar gets underway.

Racing takes place in Singapore between 14:00-15:30 SGT on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets to the Singapore Sail Grand Prix are available HERE. Full broadcast information and How To Watch details are HERE.
