One day before the start of SailGP Season 3, the inaugural event for the Canada SailGP Team, comes the important announcement that 3iQ Digital Asset Management (3iQ) has joined the Team’s growing portfolio of partners.

The Toronto based leader in digital asset investment fund management has always maintained a global outlook in its offerings, with a slate of diversified products. Given this worldwide perspective, coupled with an ethos driven by innovation, 3iQ has found a natural fit in its partnership with the Canada SailGP Team.

Canada SailGP Team and 3iQ share the vision to inspire the next generation of sailors across the country and make a difference in protecting and restoring the world’s ocean. As part of the partnership, 3iQ will be an integral part of the Team’s nationwide development programme for the sport of sailing and ocean stewardship.

“It’s a very exciting time for 3iQ as we announce an array of global initiatives. The Canada SailGP Team partnership is especially important to us as it aligns with our vision to invest in the next generation for a fully digital and more sustainable future," said Fred Pye, CEO and Chairman of 3iQ.

The 3iQ logo will feature prominently on the Team’s hydro-foiling F50 racing catamaran this weekend when racing commences on Bermuda’s Great Sound. Fans can watch the action live on TSN, sailgp.com and the SailGP app.

“The partnership with 3iQ marks another first for the Canada SailGP Team, which is blazing the trail for partnerships with companies in the cutting edge sectors of digital finance and blockchain. It reinforces the opportunities that the combination of sport, purpose and entertainment offer corporate partners,” said Canada SailGP Team CEO Jean-Sébastien Chénier Proteau.
