TikTok trainspotting sensation Francis Bourgeois swapped trains for F50s after taking the wheel of Great Britain’s electric blue hydro foiling catamaran during a visit to the Great Britain Sail Grand Prix in Plymouth.
Bourgeois took part in rigorous safety training, including how to respond in the event of a capsize, before stepping on board with driver Ben Ainslie and the rest of the team on the waters of Plymouth Sound.
After catching his breath, Bourgeois was even handed the wheel of the F50, an experience he described as being ‘like a movie’.
Bourgeois' visit took place ahead of official racing on Saturday, which saw Peter Burling's New Zealand dominate, with a 2-2-1 racing record.
Sunday's racing action will kick off at 2pm BST.
