SailGP fans can now predict the top three teams they think will make the Final of the first ever Singapore Sail Grand Prix this weekend.
The F50 fleet is preparing to hit the water today ahead of racing on January 14 & 15, which will prove crucial to those mid-fleet teams looking to climb the leaderboard.
After a stunning comeback in Dubai, two-time defending champion Australia extended its Championship lead to 60 points and is now nine points ahead of New Zealand in second place. The Kiwis meanwhile will be looking to extend their slim one-point lead over France, which has 50 points in third. Great Britain, Denmark, Canada and the United States will be aiming to enter the top three at the eighth event of Season 3’s 11-strong calendar.
It comes after SailGP commentators said Singapore offered a prime opportunity for mid-fleet teams to make their mark on the leaderboard.
