Robertson himself was voted the Best Driver of the weekend, taking a whopping 56% of the vote, while Australia’s Tom Slingsby was voted into second with 22% and France’s Quentin Delapierre picked up third with 8%.

The votes were much more divided when it came to the Most Improved team. Canada, who finished second overall in Chicago, once again topped the poll with 31% of the vote.

But France was a close second with 26% after their triumph in the fourth fleet race captured the attention of fans. Peter Burling’s New Zealand, who confidently won the first race of the event but narrowly missed out on a spot in the Final, was voted into third with 18% of the vote.

When it came to the most Tactical Team, Canada once again topped the poll, with almost half (49%) of fans voting them into the top spot. Tom Slingsby’s Australia, who performed an incredible comeback across the weekend, picked up second place with 18% of the vote while Ben Ainslie’s Great Britain was voted into third place with 12% of the vote.
