SailGP fans can now cast their votes for the top three teams they think will make the Final of Season 3’s KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix in Sydney this weekend.

Preparations are well underway, with the nine international teams hitting the water on February 16 to begin training before official racing begins on February 18 & 19.

Tom Slingsby’s Australia will be looking to impress home crowds and extend its Championship lead, while New Zealand in second place will be looking to close the Aussies’ lead. Meanwhile Great Britain in third is just one point ahead of Quentin Delapierre’s France - which will be looking to reclaim the all-important third place position in the leaderboard.

It comes after SailGP’s commentators said home town heroes Australia will be tough to beat on home turf, while Slingsby himself explained why he’s hoping Sydney will play host to Australia regaining its fleet-wide dominance.

Racing takes place in Sydney between 16:00-17:30 AEDT on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets to the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix | Sydney are available HERE. Full broadcast information and How To Watch details are HERE.
