A total of 31.06% of fans voted for Tom Slingsby’s triple champions to triumph in Spain, despite not winning an event in Season 4 so far.

It comes after New Zealand hit the Cadiz racetrack with purpose when practice racing got underway - picking up two race wins and ending the day at the top of the leaderboard tied on points with ROCKWOOL DEN. Australia meanwhile had a tricky day on the water and finished in 7th overall ahead of Switzerland.

Despite ROCKWOOL DEN's promising practice, fans were more confident that fledgling team Germany would secure their inaugural victory in Spain than they were in Nicolai Sehested’s Danish crew. The Germans picked up 1.23% of the vote, compared to ROCKWOOL DEN’s 0.93%.

Switzerland meanwhile, which has shown little improvement in Season 4 despite the additions of Nathan Outteridge and Glenn Ashby, was voted least likely to win in Spain.
