SailGP fans can now get the inside track on Season 4’s opener in Chicago in the latest episode of the league’s behind-the-scenes docuseries Racing on the Edge.
The new episode explores the entrance of Erik Heil’s Germany SailGP Team, growing the SailGP fleet to 10 rival teams for the first time.
The team’s baptism of fire in Chicago, which saw the team enter racing with limited practice, is put under the spotlight - as well as Tom Slingsby’s fight to retain his crew following Australia’s Season 3 triumph and Canada’s ownership uncertainty heading into Season 4.
Racing on the Edge features behind-the scenes-insight and up-close interviews with the Championship’s biggest personalities, including New Zealand’s Peter Burling, Emirates GBR driver Ben Ainslie and Jimmy Spithill of the U.S. team.
