Australia strategist Lucy Copeland has been put under the spotlight in SailGP’s new Get to Know series.
The series, which takes fans closer to the athletes of the sport, profiled Copeland at the Dubai Sail Grand Prix.
Copeland recalls her first sailing memories, her first ever job and favorite racing venue, as well as where she sees herself in 10 years time.
When asked what advice she would give to herself 10 years ago, Copeland’s answer is simple: “Keep sailing, go fast.”
Fans can learn more about SailGP’s roster of world class athletes throughout the series, which will focus next on driver and CEO of the Australia SailGP Team, Tom Slingsby.
