Phil Robertson announced today that Paul ‘CJ’ Campbell-James has joined the team as wing trimmer.

Campbell-James brings a wealth of experience to the Canadian team, having been involved with SailGP since its inception, including sailing with Phil onboard Team China in Season 1 and more recently as wing trimmer for the United States SailGP Team.

A four-time national match racing champion, CJ is one of the helmsmen for 2013 America’s Cup Challenger Luna Rossa and wing trimmer for the 2017 America’s Cup Challenger Land Rover BAR.

“I’m really excited to join Phil and the Canadians. It will be great to have a few extra days of sailing together next week in Dubai before racing starts on 9 December,” said Campbell-James.

Also joining the team is world renowned coach, Philippe Presti, who was previously with the United States SailGP Team and is the Head Coach of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli.

Philippe takes over from Joe Glanfield who was with the team since inception and has shifted his focus to leading the coaches of the British Olympic sailing team.

The Canada SailGP Team crew line up for the Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix on 9-10 December is as follows:
