Excitement for this weekend’s Season 4 opener is ramping up as the league touched down in the city of Chicago.
The tech base has been built and the F50s assembled. The teams have begun limited practice time on the waters of Lake Michigan ahead of racing this weekend.
Pressure is on home team the United States after a disappointing seventh place finish in Season 3 and a disastrous performance in Chicago last season.
Meanwhile, three-time and defending SailGP champions Australia will be looking to repeat their Season 3 triumph on Lake Michigan and propel themselves to the top of the leaderboard early on.
