The best young WASZP athletes from Season 3 will go head to head at the WASZP Grand Final - Championship of Champions in San Francisco next month.
Hippolyte Gruet was the winner of the WASZP racing at the Range Rover France Sail Grand Prix in Saint Tropez and said he was ‘super stoked to represent France’ at the Grand Final.
After winning the event in September, Gruet spent the winter ‘training hard to make the most of this opportunity’ and has since competed at the Eurocup in Imperia, Italy.
Gruet will go head to head against the best young male and female WASZP athletes from the season on the iconic waters of San Francisco Bay.
Finishing top of the podium will provide a major springboard to the winners, who will receive the incredible experience of joining a SailGP team on board their F50 in Season 4.
