The race times and racetrack of SailGP’s opening event of 2024, the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix presented by Abu Dhabi Sports Council, have been confirmed.
The event, which marks SailGP’s first visit to Abu Dhabi and the 7th stop on Season 4’s action-packed 13-event calendar, will take place on January 13-14.
The SailGP Race Stadium will be open to fans from 1pm - 4.30pm GST, with racing scheduled to take place between 2pm-3.30pm GST.
The layout of the racecourse has also been confirmed, with the track framed by the Zayed Port, which will host the Tech Site, Race Stadium and Adrenaline Lounge.
Two days of adrenaline-fueled racing will take place on the on the iconic Mina Zayed, with SailGP’s 10 national teams going head to head across five fleet races and the all-important three-boat showdown.
Alongside the action-packed racing, fans will have the chance to explore SailGP’s unique Race Stadium, which promises exclusive athlete meet and greets, interactive activations and some of Abu Dhabi's most popular street food outlets and bars.
