Australia's SailGP dominance and the team's ups and downs of Season 3 so far have been examined in the latest episode of Racing on the Edge.

The latest episode of the league’s docuseries goes behind the scenes of Australia’s Season 3 journey ahead of returning to home waters for this week’s KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix in Sydney.

The fierce rivalry between Australia and Peter Burling’s New Zealand is put under the spotlight, as well as the improved racing quality of the fleet, which is challenging the Aussies like never before.

Driver Tom Slingsby reflects on the team’s three-year dominance of SailGP but foresees a dip in the team’s fortunes ahead. “If you’re on top, the only way you can go is down,” he says.

Elsewhere, the episode recaps the dramatic moment Australia was luffed by New Zealand on the finish line of the Range Rover France Sail Grand Prix in Saint Tropez, as well as the team’s incredible comeback in Dubai, which marked their first event win in 21 weeks.

Racing on the Edge features behind-the scenes-insight and up-close interviews with the Championship’s biggest personalities, including New Zealand’s Blair Tuke and Peter Burling, Australian driver Tom Slingsby and driver of Great Britain, Ben Ainslie.
