There’s just one week to go before SailGP’s 10-strong fleet begin the European leg of Season 4 in Saint-Tropez.
The countdown has begun, with teams preparing to break the 6-week hiatus since Los Angeles with two days of fast and furious, shoreside racing on the Côte d’Azur.

Five fleet races will take place across the two days of racing, culminating in the winner-takes-all, three-boat Final to crown the winner of the event.
Fans will be watching to see if Diego Botin’s Spain can repeat its Los Angeles triumph, while France will be looking to harness local support to excel on home waters.

ROCKWOOL Denmark and Canada, currently in 3rd and 4th respectively, will be on the hunt for a podium-topping performance, while the pressure is on New Zealand and Emirates GBR to climb the Championship rankings.

Meanwhile Tom Slingsby’s Australia, which is currently at the top of the leaderboard, will be gunning for another good result to keep them there.
The France Sail Grand Prix | Saint-Tropez marks the third event of Season 4, and the first of the season’s European leg. After Saint-Tropez, the league will visit Italy’s Taranto before moving onto Cadiz in Spain in October.

Racing in Saint-Tropez will take place on September 9-10 from 1.30pm - 3.30pm CEST.
