There’s just two days until SailGP’s 10-strong F50 fleet goes to battle in the second installment of Season 4 - tackling a brand new racecourse for the first time.
The fleet will go head to head on the Port of Los Angeles, navigating the thermal afternoon breezes of ‘Hurricane Gulch’ across five fleet races and a three-boat Final.
Peter Burling’s New Zealand will be looking to defend the top spot of the leaderboard from fierce rivals Australia, while Canada will aim to continue its promising season start.
Elsewhere, Los Angeles marks the second event for new team Germany, which has been given extra practice time, while home team United States will be hoping from an improved performance after a disappointing ninth place finish in Chicago.
After Los Angeles, SailGP will head across the Atlantic to begin the European leg of Season 4 - kicking off with the France Sail Grand Prix | Saint-Tropez on September 9-10.
