SailGP fans can now go behind the scenes of France’s Season 4 struggles in the latest episode of the league’s docuseries Racing on the Edge.

The new episode of the series explores the rationale and fallout of France driver Quentin Delapierre’s decision to poach Switzerland’s flight controller Jason Saunders earlier this season.

Speaking ahead of Saunders’ debut with the team in Saint-Tropez, Delapierre says: “If you fly higher on an F50 then you go faster - it’s as simple as that for me.”

Switzerland driver Sebastien Schneiter also reflects on the transfer and his own difficulties with crew rotation, while Canada driver Phil Robertson and Spain driver Diego Botin dissect the collision between the two teams in Saint-Tropez.

Racing on the Edge features behind-the scenes-insight and up-close interviews with the Championship’s biggest personalities, including New Zealand’s Peter Burling, Emirates GBR driver Ben Ainslie and Jimmy Spithill of the U.S. team.
