SailGP is making sailing easier to understand than ever before and capturing new legions of racing fans with its adrenaline-fueled, close-to-shore racing action.
Key to this is SailGP’s Emmy Award-winning broadcast graphic package LiveLineFX, which projects augmented boundaries onto the racecourse.
LiveLiveFX also creates ladder lines, which are horizontal to the wind and placed 100m apart, which make it easy for fans to see which teams are winning and losing. The distances between all boats are also shown, alongside the start and finish lines, as well as the turning gates.
This means that all fans can understand and access the sport, even if they have no technical knowledge.
