Smart Preparation
The event is a testament to weeks of meticulous planning and preparation. Mina Rashid is home to the world’s largest single covered cruise terminal, capable of handling 14,000 passengers a day.
Did you know Mina Rashid’s footprint stands at 3.1 km² in size? That’s the equivalents to 434 football pitches! Be amazed as it transforms to serve as both the tech base and race stadium.
Smart Logistics
The Tech Site at SailGP Dubai is a marvel. Comprising over 100 x 40' containers, it serves as the backbone of the event. Each team base is constructed using six 40' containers, with four containers forming the footprint of the tent.
Additionally, 85 containers are used to transport all 10 F50s, tents, and equipment around the globe to each event. Remarkably, each F50 breaks down to fit into just three containers, with two for the boat and one for the wing.
Spectator Boats
As we gear up to welcome over 100 spectator boats and 30 support boats, imagine the magnificent views onboard as guests have a front-row seat to the exhilarating race.
