Bookmakers are backing the Kiwis to deliver a Championship victory at this weekend’s Season 4 Grand Final in San Francisco.

America’s biggest bookmaker DraftKings in the U.S. and William Hill in the UK are offering odds on the winner of the first fleet race and the ultimate champions of the winner-takes-all, $2 million Grand Final.

After a stunning season, New Zealand currently has the confidence of bookies heading into the weekend, with William Hill offering 7/4 odds (36.4%) on the Kiwis beating Australia over the finish line.

Triple champions Australia meanwhile has been given 2/1 odds (33.3%). Spain, currently in third place, has 9/4 odds (30.8%), while France, currently fourth, has 7/1 (12.1%).

It’s a similar story for DraftKings, which gives New Zealand a 37% probability of winning the Grand Final - slightly more than Australia’s 34.5% and Spain’s 31.3%, while France is given an outside 10% chance.

Fans can also bet on which team they think will win the opening fleet race, with the ability to choose from all 10 teams.

SailGP’s Season 4 Grand Final in San Francisco takes place on July 13/14, with racing from 2.30pm PDT.
