Excitement is ramping up for SailGP’s Season 4 return to Sydney for the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix on February 24-25.
The 8th stop on SailGP’s 13-event Season 4 calendar will mark the league’s 5th visit to the iconic city of Sydney, where Tom Slingsby’s Aussie team will look to take advantage of the home support.
Two days of adrenaline-filled racing will take place on Sydney’s iconic harbour, with five fleet races preceding the all-important, three boat Final.
Tickets are currently on sale, with an extensive range of free and ticketed experiences available both on and off the water, with spectators watching the live racing from Genesis (Shark) Island just meters from the racecourse.
There’s also the option to watch the racing from SailGP’s range of official spectator boats or fans can also opt to bring their own boat with SailGP’s Bring Your Own Boat program and watch the action from inside the public exclusion zone.
Genesis Island will be positioned in the middle of the racecourse, with the 10 F50s starting and finishing racing on either side of the island. Racing will take place between 16:00-17:30 AEDT.
