The first F50s have hit the water in New York to begin crucial training ahead of racing this weekend.
Germany, Australia, Switzerland, ROCKWOOL DEN and home team the United States were all seen putting their F50s through their paces and practicing maneuvers on New York Harbor.
The full F50 fleet will go head to head for the first time during Friday’s official practice racing, which will comprise three fleet races.
Official racing gets underway on June 22, with three fleet races scheduled to kick off from 4.30pm ET.
A further two fleet races will get underway on June 23, before the top three ranked teams proceed into the winner-takes-all Final, which will decide the event winner.
