The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix presented by Abu Dhabi Sports Council marks the 7th stop on SailGP’s record 13-event Season 4 calendar and the league’s first ever visit to the UAE capital. Abu Dhabi’s spectacular cityscape will provide the ultimate backdrop when SailGP’s 10 national teams hit the water for two days of action-packed racing on January 13-14. SailGP’s 10-strong fleet of hydrofoiling catamarans, which fly above the water at speeds approaching 100 km/h, are even more impressive to watch in person and Abu Dhabi’s tight, close-to-shore racecourse promises plenty of adrenaline-fueled racing. Official racing will kick off at 14:00 GST on Saturday, January 13, but fans will have plenty of time to spot the F50s undertaking all-important training in the days leading up to the event.
