The one we've all been waiting for - the 2021 eSailGP Grand Final - is finally here!
Taking place at 9pm CEST on Friday, October 15, the showpiece finale of the 2021 eSailGP Championship pits our finalists in a head-to-head battle to be crowned champion of eSailGP.
The winner claims not only the title of eSailGP Champion - and bragging rights over their fellow finalists - but also qualification for the eSailing World Championship and a real-life SailGP experience.
The 2021 eSailGP campaign has been run concurrently with Season 2 of SailGP, with six qualification rounds taking place alongside our events in Bermuda, Italy, Great Britain, Denmark, France and Spain.
Qualifier races determined which eight players would take part in each event's Qualifer Final, with the winners of the Qualifier Finals booking their place in tonight's Grand Final.
The format of the Grand Final is simple; three fleet races involving all players take place, with the top two players after these three fleet races meeting in a winner-takes-all match race to crown the 2021 eSailGP Champion.
