SailGP Season 2 begins this week, as the Bermuda Sail Grand Prix presented by Hamilton Princess gets under way.

Our season opener on the Great Sound offers fans the chance to see new teams, new athletes, and even some new tech on our cutting-edge F50s.

And for those watching along at home, we also bring you a new presenting line-up which boasts a wealth of experience and plenty of sailing expertise.

But just who is part of SailGP's new broadcasting team for Season 2? Find out below...

Aly Vance

An acclaimed and versatile sports journalist, boasting over 10 years worth of presenting experience with broadcasters including CNN, BBC, Sky Sports, BT Sport and Channel 4, Vance joins SailGP as on-water reporter.

After graduating from Oxford University, she represented Great Britain in Modern Pentathlon and was part of the GB Olympic training squad in the build-up to Beijing in 2008.

She later joined BBC Wales TV and Radio which led her to work for BBC 5live and BBC News as a sports news presenter. In 2015 she moved to CNN where she hosts two programmes for the channel, on horse racing and equestrian.

However, her versatility has seen her cover a wide range of sports, from triathlons for Channel 4 to sailing for Eurosport.

Having been brought up sailing, one of her first jobs was with the Volvo Ocean Race and she has also presented the World Match Racing Tour and the GC32 Racing tour, and fronted various sailing features for BBC Sport.

Todd Harris

Our man in the commentary booth, Harris is veteran broadcaster of more than three decades with an emphasis primarily in live sporting events. Beginning his sports broadcasting career with ESPN in 1992, Harris was initially involved in action sports, covering surfing and snowboarding before transitioning to basketball and American football.

He is a veteran of eight Olympic Games and two America's Cups, and has worked some of the biggest televised events in America, including: The Tour de France, The Indianapolis 500, and College football's national championship and multiple Rose Bowls. Harris will add another Olympic Games to his resume this summer when he calls the skateboarding action in Tokyo.

Harris is a California native but spent most of his early years in Portland, Oregon before attending Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He is an avid cyclist and snowboarder, and lives with his wife and family in Utah.

Stevie Morrison

Morrison is one of two sailors on our broadcast roster, and he brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. A 49er World and European Champion, Morrison represented Great Britain at two Olympic Games - including London 2012 - and skippered Oman Air in the Extreme Sailing Series.

His previous commentary work includes co-presenting BT Sport's coverage of the 35th America's Cup in Bermuda in 2017.

David Carr

Insights and analysis will be provided to our viewers by veteran sailor David 'Freddie' Carr, who has to his name five America's Cup campaigns and also victories in the Extreme Sailing Series and TP52.

He won the America's Cup World Series twice, and also reached two Challenger Series finals.
