First up – what is Gemini Predictions?
Gemini Predictions is a prediction trading platform that’s been around since December 2025. How it works is pretty similar to what I found in my Crypto.com prediction markets review – in eligible US states, you can use Gemini to buy and sell event contracts tied to real event outcomes, in a derivatives-style environment. These contracts are priced between $0 and $0.99 per contract, depending on how likely the market reckons an outcome will occur.
If a predicted outcome does happen, correct contracts will settle at $1 apiece. If it doesn’t, incorrect ones will close at $0, resulting in a loss. During the trading window, prices fluctuate up and down, and you can buy (and sell) as many contracts as you like up until the very last minute. Although of course, the more contracts you take on, the greater the risk level involved. And as with all market-based trading activities, the heat involved in prediction trading won’t suit everybody.
Next – is Gemini Predictions legit?
When putting together today’s Gemini review, I found that all trading in Gemini Predictions is carried out in a Designated Contract Market (DCM), which is overseen by the Commodity and Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Jargon and acronyms aside, this means that the site is federally regulated and currently accessible from all 50 US states. However, an 18+ minimum age requirement is enforced by the site, while other eligibility T&Cs apply, too. So, I’d suggest carefully reading through Gemini’s trading rules for yourself if you’re considering using the service.
Much as I found in my Kalshi review, Gemini Predictions operates on an SSL-secured site, too. While it also takes appropriate geo-fencing steps to prevent access in restricted countries, it has a transparent privacy policy and uses photo ID and proof of address checks on all its US users, in line with its Know Your Customer (KYC) obligations.
What markets does Gemini Predictions cover?
You’ll find all sorts of event contract trading options on Gemini’s site right now – ranging from politics, economics, and crypto prediction markets, to contracts tied to popular sports events, or city-specific weather forecast predictions.
Many are purchasable on a binary, “yes” versus “no” basis. Although multiple-choice and range-based contracts are also frequently advertised. For example, a “Presidential Election Winner 2028?” contract displayed on Gemini at the time of writing was offering “Marco Rubio”, “JD Vance,” and “Gavin Newsom” as three multiple-choice options, each with its own separate probabilities. While a “Bitcoin price today at 5 pm?” contract was offering eight different, range-based probabilities, starting out at “$62,700 or above”, and climbing to “$64,400 or above”.
Here’s a closer look at the most popular markets covered, and the kinds of contracts you’ll likely encounter on the site:

| Prediction market | Example contract |
|---|---|
| Sports | “US Tennis Open Men’s Singles Winner?” |
| Economics | “Fed decision in July?” |
| Crypto | “Bitcoin price today at 5 pm?” |
| Weather | “Highest temperature in Chicago on July 20?” |
| Pop culture | “Nobel Peace Prize Winner 2026?” |
I found a pretty well-balanced mix between longer and shorter-term contracts on the site, with five and fifteen-minute event contract trading options most frequently advertised on crypto price predictions and economics-themed contracts.
While I also found that Gemini’s support pages offer some useful guides for first-time traders, too, which I’d highly recommend familiarizing yourself with if you’re considering trying out Gemini’s predictions service.
Site navigation and UI – finding your way around
Gemini’s prediction contracts are displayed in a relatively easy-to-read format on their main homepage, with color-coded “yes” and “no” icons featured on trending contracts, and single-click links to dedicated “Sports”, “Crypto”, “Weather” and other market-specific pages available in the top toolbar.
Some basic filter options are offered to help you sift through higher-volume and newly-listed contracts, too, while the site also features a search engine, which might be more convenient if you know exactly what you want to trade. What’s more, a single main menu offers quick links to the “Resources” tab, where you’ll find Gemini’s Blog, support services, and how-to guides covering things like how to use Gemini Predictions and what kinds of fees apply.
Does Gemini Predictions offer an app?
Yep. As it stands, our Gemini Predictions review found that you can access the brand’s prediction trading service from their catch-all “Gemini Markets” app, which is available on both Apple’s App Store and Google Play in the US.
The app boasts 4.8 and 4.0-star ratings, respectively, and has thousands of user ratings that offer up generally positive feedback. It offers all the same functionality as Gemini’s prediction trading site, albeit in a smaller package, with sensibly resized buttons and icons.
Bonuses at Gemini Predictions – what you need to know
At the time of writing, I’m sad to say that Gemini wasn’t advertising any welcome bonuses for prediction traders. Having said that, one-off offers, including bonus trading credits for the Soccer World Cup and NFL playoffs, were on the site previously. And similar promos may potentially surface in the future. If interested, you can follow Gemini’s blog and social media pages for updates.
I recently published a Gemini promo code guide detailing how to claim and use bonus offers with the site when available, too. This is well worth a read, as any free trading credits or other bonuses that might crop up in the future will certainly come with rules and restrictions, which will warrant careful consideration before you opt in.
Does Gemini Predictions have a VIP program?
Gemini recently launched its Taker Rewards Program, which is the closest thing I found to a VIP or loyalty club on the site.
The program offers daily rewards and monthly bonuses based on your trailing 30-day taker volume, with daily reward rates of between 0.50% and 1.50% available to eligible, high-volume traders. My promo code guide linked above discusses the program in more detail.
Payment options at Gemini Predictions – my review’s findings
All prediction trading at Gemini Predictions takes place in USD, and the site currently supports several popular debit cards, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal on the e-wallets front.
It’s possible to fund your account in just 15 minutes using a card. But if you link a bank account to your Gemini profile, and use ACH or Wire Transfer instead, deposits can take up to five business days to process. So, please be aware of this.
As it stands, ACH and Wire Transfer are the only withdrawal options, which means cash-out requests may take up to five business days to be honored, too.
I’d also suggest familiarizing yourself with Gemini’s rules regarding trading fees before using the service, as these may apply to certain categories of prediction trades.
Customer support choices – what to expect
My Gemini Predictions review found the site’s prediction trading FAQs page particularly useful at covering the basics of how event contract trading works on the site. But if you run into any tech niggles when trading here, or have other questions, you’ll be happy to hear that direct contact options are also available.
At the time of writing, you can click the “Support” icon in the bottom right-hand corner of any Gemini Predictions webpage to fire up an AI chatbot, which I found responds instantly to queries. Clicking the “Get in Touch” button in the chat widget will let you submit an online ticket, too – which Gemini’s human team will then answer later by email.
I got a reply within just a couple of hours when I tested the online ticketing service. Although, to be fair, the AI chatbot is more than sufficient for most situations.
My Gemini Predictions review’s conclusion…
Covering a competitive set of markets and offering well-designed apps for iOS and Android, Gemini Predictions has a lot going for it, and is definitely up to industry standards. However, it’s a real shame that there aren’t any prediction trading sign-up bonuses right now. As it stands, only the Taker Rewards Program is available to event contract traders.
If you’d like to try out Gemini Predictions today, you can register via any of my banner links on this page. Just remember to familiarize yourself with the site’s trading rules and potential risks before getting involved.
