OG.com Prediction Markets: How OG Predictions Work and Is It Legit

July 25, 2026 Review
by James Pacheco

As this is one of my favorite prediction platforms in the US, my OG Predictions review is very detailed. This site covers a broad range of categories, you’d be satisfied to know that this platform is a must-try.

OG is one of the platforms that lets you buy and sell event contracts that represent the market’s opinion of a certain event taking place. With this guide, you’ll know how to navigate Yes and No contracts, how legit is OG as a trading platform, and how you can use its bonuses, mobile app, payment methods, and many other details.

How does OG.com work?

On OG, you trade Yes or No event contracts that cost between $0.01 and $0.99. The price is determined by traders as they buy and sell because the prediction markets are peer-to-peer (P2P). In other words, OG doesn’t set the price, which is why the platform isn’t a sportsbook.

If you buy contracts and your prediction is correct, you receive a $1 payout for each. However, if incorrect, the contracts become $0. If you don’t want to wait until settlement, you can sell your contracts early.

To learn more about trading specifically, you can check this guide explaining what a prediction market is all about. Also, go to OG.com for additional information.

Is OG Predictions legit?

From what I found in my review, OG Prediction Markets is legit. The site’s event contracts are offered by North American Derivatives Exchange (NADEX), which is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Therefore, it’s approved in the US at the federal level.

However, whether the prediction markets are legal depends on your location. Based on my checks, there are exclusions in a few regions; If you’re in New York or Arizona, you can’t join the platform to trade event contracts. Meanwhile, in Massachusetts, Maryland, Ohio, Nevada, Michigan, Illinois, and New Jersey, you can access all prediction markets except the sports category.

Account verification on OG

You have to be at least 18 years old and in a supported state to use OG. After creating my account, I had to verify my identity to prove I was eligible to trade. The procedure is simple, though, as OG Predictions works with Verified.inc.

All I had to do was fill out a form with my details, and it was automatically approved. However, if the information you supplied doesn’t match, you may be asked to upload documents manually.

Prediction Trading is facilitated through Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA). Foris DAX Inc. and Foris Inc. (d/b/a OG ) provide access to CDNA, a platform regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), allowing users to trade derivatives in accordance with CDNA’s rules and regulations.

OG prediction market categories

During my OG Predictions review, I counted up to nine different event contract categories. That’s close to the 11+ I saw in my Polymarket review, which proves that OG compares well with its most popular competitors.

These are the top prediction markets on OG and the subcategories to expect:

CategoryExamples
SportsFootball, basketball, baseball, hockey, tennis, soccer, esports, and more
PoliticsUS elections, international elections, party nominees, geopolitics
CultureMusic, artists, awards, video games
CryptoPrice predictions for BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, and 15+ other digital coins and tokens
ClimateTemperature
EconomicsRecession, Fed decision, interest rates, jobs, financials, commodities

You’ll see the price of each event contract as the market’s estimated probability. For instance, if a contract costs $0.40, OG will display it as a 40% probability of the expected outcome.

From my time on OG, I observed that the platform has trading fees of $0.02 per contract on average. You can tap the banners on this page to visit OG.com for more information.

🎢 Live Trading

You can trade contracts on OG while an event is ongoing. I tried this feature and mainly saw sports games at the time. However, if there are ongoing major events in other categories such as politics, culture, and economics, they’ll also appear in OG’s live section.

📈 Parlay

A parlay on OG lets you combine more than one event contract into a single prediction to trade. In this case, all outcomes you pick must be correct for you to receive a payout. With parlays, the probability of all events happening together becomes lower, meaning a higher potential payout per event contract. I’ve already explained how OG Predictions work with event contracts and a P2P setup. As such, supporting parlays doesn’t make the site an online sportsbook. The term is only used to refer to combining multiple events into a single prediction.

OG Predictions bonus offers

As a new OG trader, you can get a $10 bonus for trading $10 within seven days. When I signed up, I didn’t need an OG Predictions promo code to claim it. Once I completed the $10 minimum trade, the platform gave me the bonus right away.

All prediction markets on OG count, as I didn’t see any exclusions in the bonus terms. That said, the $10 must be on a single trade, and the event contract prices must not exceed $0.80.

Here are other bonuses I found while making this OG Predictions review:

Referral bonus

Similar to the welcome offer, the OG referral program gives you $10 for inviting new traders. The bonus is determined by your referral’s trading volume for their first 30 days, and they also receive a $10 bonus.

I referred my friends using my unique link, but OG Predictions also supports a standard code and QR code. You can use any that works for you.

VIP program

OG has an invite-only VIP program. If you think you deserve to be a member, fill out the VIP form on the website. Then, the brand will review and provide feedback.

Due to its private nature, I can’t detail specifics of what the scheme involves. However, if you get in, expect exclusive bonuses, higher deposit limits, and a dedicated relationship manager. OG also offers faster customer support and access to customized gear.

Diverse deposit and withdrawal methods

In my experience, the payment methods you see on OG depend on your location. However, I can confirm that the options are diverse. For deposits, I found debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, ACH, Venmo, and more. You may even get a crypto-to-cash option operated by Mesh.

The minimum deposit amount varies, but it’s $10 for most methods. Also, certain fees may apply when funding your account, especially with bank cards.

When you want to withdraw, the common payment methods on OG Predictions are ACH and RTP. Both involve a bank transfer, with minimum limits starting at just $1. From my tests, the payout time is between 1 and 3 business days.

Bold website and app interface

You can trade OG’s event contracts via web and on the mobile app. I tried both and found the platform convenient to use. Its design is modern, with a bold combination of black and orange colors. Unlike in my Kalshi review, there’s no option to switch between light and dark mode.

On the website, I selected prediction markets in seconds through the top tab. The platform neatly displays contracts in separate cards with options to filter other categories. Once you tap on any price, the event instantly appears on your Trade Slip.

When I used the mobile app, I got the same black and orange theme. The fonts appear bolder on the smaller screen and the contract cards bigger. As a result, trading on the app was smoother for me.

24/7 support channels

I rate OG Predictions as reliable for support because of its 24/7 contact channels. My preferred option is live chat, which offers replies within a few minutes. A chatbot begins the chat when you launch, but you can request to speak with a human if you want.

In my OG Predictions review, I also tested email support and got feedback within hours. If you’d prefer not to contact anyone, the platform has a help center with detailed guides and articles.

OG is a quality prediction market brand

If you’re searching for a reliable prediction market platform, OG qualifies as one. I recommend the site because of its many event categories, web and app support, and secure payment methods. The bonuses, VIP rewards, and 24/7 customer support are also major selling points.

Not to mention, OG Predictions’ event contracts are CFTC-regulated. As such, the platform is legit, and you can use it provided you’re in an eligible state.

To start trading on OG today, tap the links on this page to visit the website. Then, register, verify your account, deposit, and you’re ready. Remember that you can claim a $10 bonus if you place a single $10 trade within seven days. Other terms and conditions apply.
