Best Prediction Market Promos for the F1 Dutch GP Sprint on August 22nd

August 21, 2026
by Emma Harrison

Returning from a mid-season break, the F1 season gets back underway in the Netherlands this weekend, and the first points can be picked up in the Dutch GP sprint – an early chance to use some prediction market promos you’ve got.

The man to beat is Kimi Antonelli, currently leading the Drivers’ Championship by 50 points from Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton and his fellow chasers will be keen to outpace the Italian in order to start cutting into that championship margin, and 100km of all-out driving could be the start of a positive weekend for someone.

Who’s the early favorite?

The Sprint is a different kind of race from the standard Sunday contest, which is more technical and relies on strategy: here it’s all about speed. But the difficult news for Antonielli’s rivals is that he’s pretty fast as well as being a great technical driver. So he starts here as the lead contender with the top prediction market platforms. He will be challenged, though, and main title rival Hamilton will be among those challengers as they look to take a bite out of his championship lead.

Max Verstappen finished second in the Sprint here last year, and also last time out in Hungary. Could he harness the backing of a partisan crowd and take the checkered flag? Possibly. Also don’t rule out Lando Norris, who was the winner in Hungary. He’s third in the Drivers’ Championship and just nine points behind Hamilton. A good Sprint would set him up to move into second overall and mount a challenge to Antonielli. Sports prediction markets see that as an outside possibility, but it’s possible nonetheless.

Best prediction market promos for the Dutch GP Sprint

There is plenty of interest among the prediction markets for this weekend, both in the main race and the sprint. In particular, three prediction sites stand out above the rest and have useful promos that can give you a boost in making your predictions for the weekend’s action.

We are always impressed by Kalshi’s ability to deliver a wide range of markets on everything from sport to politics and much more besides. They also manage to deliver one of the best sign-up promos in the market, with a matched deposit bonus of up to $25 on offer when you make your first transaction on the site. Once you’re signed up, you’ll also notice that there are deep markets on every sporting event you could wish for. Our own Kalshi review goes into greater depth on this, but suffice it to say that there are plentiful props and futures to be explored.

There are similarly deep markets available at another top prediction market platform: Polymarket is perhaps the most established of all and has already seen plenty of trading on this weekend’s sprint. And as our Polymarket review makes clear, that’s one of its standout advantages: there is always liquidity to be had there and as a result, you should always be able to find value in the market. Their signup offer can deliver you $20 in trading credit, which is a good way to get started with prediction market trading.

And if you’re interested in crypto, then you could find that the best prediction market site of all for you is Crypto.com, especially for bigger events like this weekend’s GP. They accept deposits in as many as 350 different cryptocurrencies, and you don’t even need a Crypto.com promo code to take advantage of their offer, which can get as large as $250 extra credit to make predictions. Be aware that your deposits will be converted into USD for the purposes of trading prediction markets, but you can still withdraw them as crypto.
