England are one game away from their first World Cup final in sixty years, and the team standing in their path is Argentina, the defending champions, at Atlanta Stadium on Wednesday 15 July.
World Cup prediction promos from Polymarket, Crypto.com and Kalshi add up to over $300 in combined rewards for new users on this semi-final. Both sides needed extra time to survive their quarter-finals, with England beating Norway 2-1 and Argentina seeing off Switzerland 3-1, and this already feels like another knockout game that’s going to need more than 90 minutes.
England v Argentina World Cup semi-final preview
Prediction market news sites suggest this is arguably the biggest rivalry left in the draw, and you would struggle to name a better semi-final in recent tournaments. England’s only World Cup came back in 1966, and sixty years of near-misses have turned this run into something that feels different from every other before it. Argentina are chasing back-to-back titles for the first time since Brazil managed it in 1962, and they’ve certainly got the squad depth to do it. These two countries have produced some of the most replayed World Cup moments in history, and Wednesday’s winner will face France or Spain in the final on 19 July.
A few prediction markets sites have put out promos ahead of Wednesday’s semi-final, and here’s how the value adds up across each one.
Polymarket – Best for getting started
Polymarket: Pros and Cons - Numerous markets on sports, crypto, the economy, and politics
- Regulated by the CFTC
- Multiple rewards for existing traders
Polymarket is probably the easiest of the three sports prediction markets to get going for this one, because you only need to deposit $20 and they’ll add $50 on top through the current offer. The layout of the site is simple enough that you can find your England win, Argentina win, and draw contracts within a few seconds, and there are totals and player-level markets sitting underneath for anyone who wants more specific contracts.
As we said in our Polymarket review though, prices bounce around based on what the rest of the trading pool is doing, so don’t sit on a position too long if you see something you like.
Kalshi – Best for match market variety
Kalshi: Pros & Cons - Broad range of markets
- 24/7 live chat support
- Huge reputation
- Native mobile app
As mentioned in our Kalshi review, Kalshi is built around event contracts, so rather than just picking a winner, you’re trading on specific outcomes at prices that move with the market. For this semi-final, that means result, team to go through and method of victory contracts are all sitting under the same match page, which goes deeper than what most other sites typically list for a single fixture. England is priced at 54% to win right now with Argentina at 46%, and you can sell out of a position before the match settles if you change your mind. If you’re new to Kalshi, you can get a $10 bonus to put toward your first trade.
Pros and Cons - Welcome bonus
- Broad range of markets
- High-performance mobile app
Anyone already on Crypto.com for their crypto portfolio has the easiest path into prediction trading here, because the contracts sit right inside the same app alongside everything else. The Crypto.com promo code welcome offer is a 100% bonus up to $250, which is comfortably the largest single promo of the three, though it’s a general Crypto.com offer rather than dedicated credit for this specific match. You can trade Yes/No contracts and close out positions early, which is useful for a game like this where one bit of team news before kickoff could change everything.
Pick your position before the whistle blows
Polymarket has the best direct trading bonus for this match, Kalshi gives you the biggest selection of match-specific markets and Crypto.com is the pick for anyone who wants crypto and prediction contracts under one roof. Sign up through the banners on this page before Wednesday’s kickoff to claim your bonuses.
