I wrote this Underdog Predict review after I spent a week inside the prediction markets side of the Underdog app, which works under completely different rules than the fantasy contests most people already use it for.
I set up a Predictions account, funded it, placed contracts on a few different markets, and went through the support channels. Below I’ll cover the exchange routing and how it changes what you see, the promo and why it doesn’t carry over to Predictions, the deposit methods that do and don’t work, and the settlement rules you’ll want to read.

What is Underdog Predict and who runs it?
Similar to my PrizePicks Predict review, Underdog built Predictions into an app that millions of fantasy players already have on their phones, so getting started was much faster for me than it has been on other prediction market sites where I’ve had to create everything from scratch.
UDM, LLC and the CFTC
UDM, LLC operates Underdog Predict as a CFTC-registered futures commission merchant and NFA member. Now, that’s a lot of regulatory language; it basically means your Predictions funds sit in a more protected bucket than your fantasy balance on the same app. Underdog entered prediction markets through a Crypto.com partnership announced on 2 September 2025 and then acquired the CFTC-registered Aristotle Exchange businesses in spring 2026 to build out its own infrastructure. The fantasy and Predict products share a login, but that’s where the similarities end.
How the contracts work
Every contract is a yes or no question about something that hasn’t happened yet, like will the Chiefs win the Super Bowl or will Bitcoin be above $100k on a specific date. You pick yes or no on a contract between $0.01 and $0.99. Right picks pay out $1, wrong picks pay out nothing, so if I pay $0.40 for a yes contract and the outcome happens, I get $1 back.
The lower the price, the more you stand to make, but the less likely the market thinks it is to happen, so there’s a direct relationship between the price and the implied probability.
I want to be upfront about this straight away. Unfortunately, the current Underdog promo only works for the fantasy side of the account. Underdog’s homepage advertises a promotion where you make a qualifying $5 fantasy entry and get $50 in Bonus Entries using an Underdog Predict promo code, so naturally I checked if those credits could go toward prediction markets. But they can’t. The Bonus Entries are a fantasy promotion, not a Predictions promotion, and Underdog Predict doesn’t currently have its own sign-up offer.

Most prediction market sites I’ve used focus on sports and politics, but Underdog has multiple categories you can access from the same app.
The markets
You will find sports predictions covering spreads, totals, championships, individual awards, as well as crypto, politics, culture, economics and climate predictions that has the same contract structure. I noticed that sports had the biggest liquidity, and I found active markets across NFL, MLB, and NBA prediction markets.
Fees and exchange routing
Underdog doesn’t route every account through the same exchange; instead, some route through Crypto.com and others end up elsewhere. Your fee and total cost do still show as an exact dollar amount at confirmation, though, so the cost for each contract is always obvious. I only noticed this when the fee didn’t match the published schedule, so cross-referencing the legal center against your confirmation screen from the start will tell you which exchange your account uses and what fee structure applies.
One app running two product types
Just like I did in my Kalshi review, I tested the app on iOS. Having fantasy and Predictions in one place made the biggest difference during live games when I was switching between DFS lineups and contract positions. The transition between the two sides could be clearer about when you’ve switched, and the convenience of having everything in one place outweighed that issue, and I ended up preferring the combined setup to the solo prediction market apps I’ve used before where sports trading is the only thing on the screen.

Funding your account and getting money out
The deposit options for Predictions are smaller than what Underdog and other apps like Underdog Predict offer on the fantasy side, and I found that out when a method that worked for fantasy got rejected on a prediction market.
Getting money in
The card and Trustly options cover most US traders, and Apple Pay makes mobile deposits quick, so the range is decent for getting funded and trading. PayPal was a bit of a disappointment though, because it works on the fantasy side of the same account and I assumed it would carry over to Predictions, but it doesn’t.
Getting money out
Withdrawal requests are processed within 48 to 72 hours, and a Trustly bank withdrawal then takes one to three business days to reach your linked account. Available methods include debit card, PayPal, Venmo, and Trustly, depending on your account eligibility and previous funding activity. The name on your payment method has to match your verified Underdog details, which is the same requirement I’ve hit on other CFTC-regulated sites, and I didn’t have any issues with the withdrawal process during my testing.

Getting help when something goes wrong
I tested support through the in-app support option by asking a question about PayPal eligibility for Prediction Picks I already knew the answer to, which let me test both the accuracy of the response and the wait time. An automated response came back first, pointing me at the help articles, and a human follow-up came later confirming PayPal isn’t supported for Predictions. Both matched what the help center had, and the whole exchange was well inside 48 hours, which is Underdog’s initial complaint response window. There’s also a dedicated email at support@underdogpredict.com if you’d rather go that route, though the in-app option was more than helpful enough on my end.
A prediction market wearing a fantasy jersey
I’d recommend giving Underdog Predict a go. Especially for anyone already using the app for fantasy because you can be placing contracts within a few minutes of switching to the Predictions tab. I placed contracts on NFL games, a Fed rate decision, and an NBA championship market all from the same app my fantasy lineups are on, and my money sat behind CFTC protections the entire time. The promo is fantasy-only, so you’ll want to check the legal center to understand which exchange your account is routed through, but those are five-minute jobs on your first session.
