How can I buy a ticket for SailGP?
Tickets can be purchased online at SailGP.com/NewYork
How do I get my tickets?
Tickets will be emailed to you at time of purchase and scanned on your mobile device at the gates for fast entry
When does the event start?
Racing takes place from 5pm to 6:30pm* on Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13
Spectators can view from the land at Brookfield Place from 4pm to 8pm* on Friday and Saturday

What happens if the event is cancelled?
Should SailGP cancel the event, refunds will be issued at place of purchase
Will this event take place rain or shine?
This event is scheduled to take place rain or shine. In the event of adverse weather conditions please check the SailGP.com/NewYork website for updates
What are the Public Restroom locations?
Restrooms are located inside Brookfield Place. The site map will be posted online one month prior to the event date.

If I don’t have a ticket where can I see the race?
The official viewing area is open and free to the public. For on-air broadcast, this information will be announced via website or social

Will there be food available?
Yes, food and beverages will be available for purchase inside Brookfield Place.
What hours will Race Village be open?
The official viewing area will be open from 4pm-8pm* for both days of the race

What is the route / race map?

Is there a bathroom?
Yes. Each of our boats has a bathroom.
Are life jackets available?
Yes. Each of our boats is a U.S. Coast Guard certified passenger vessel and each operates with the required number of life jackets.
May I smoke onboard?
No. Smoking is not allowed on our boats at any time.
What type of ticket should I buy?
A ticket must be selected for each person in your group, including children. Children under 3 years old are free. Children MUST BE accompanied at all times by an adult.
Is the boat safe?
Yes. Each boat in the fleet is a U.S. Coast-Guard Certified vessel meaning that all related federal regulations are fully adhered to, including having the correct safety equipment and maintaining safety-training for the captains and crew.
Am I likely to get sea-sick?
It is uncommon for our guests to experience sea sickness, though those who are prone to seasickness are advised to consider preventative measures of their choosing prior to boarding the boat.
Are pets allowed on board?
No pets are allowed on board
Is gratuity included with my ticket?
No, gratuity is not included

Boarding Information
Boarding begins 30-minutes before departure, but please arrive 45-minutes to 1-hour prior to departure to allow time for obtaining boarding passes and heading through security.

Early boarding ticket holders board from 3:30pm (both Friday/Saturday June 12/13)
General boarding starts at 4pm (both Friday/Saturday June 12/13)

Nearby Subway Lines: A, C, E, N, Q, R, W, S, 1, 2, 3, 7
By Subway: Take the 1, 2, 3, 7, A, C, E, N, Q or R train to Times Square 42nd Street; train B, D, F to 5th Avenue and 42nd Street, or 4, 5, 6 train to 42nd Street Grand Central Station. Follow directions below for the bus or walk 5 avenues west to Pier 83 (about 1 mile or 1.6km).
Nearby Bus Lines: M23, M42, M50
By Bus: From 42nd Street take the M42 bus going West, directly to the Circle Line Pier. From 49th Street take the M50 bus directly to the Circle Line pier.
Is there parking and how much is it?
Parking available at Circle Line Sightseeing, Pier 83, W 42nd Street. ($30 before 3pm weekdays and $35 after 3pm weekdays and all weekend)

Guests in wheelchairs can enjoy the racing from Deck 2 of the vessel. Please note, we do not have an elevator on board to access the other decks.
