SailGP
What Hans-Christian Rosendahl lacks in experience he makes up for with dedication and hard work that will help set a strong foundation for ROCKWOOL DEN as they seek glory in SailGP.

He was chosen for the team by helmsman Nicolai Sehested following a two-week training and selection camp in New Zealand’s Northland region.

Youth
Coming from the proud sailing nation of Denmark, Rosendahl was a force on the youth sailing circuit, taking home back-to-back match racing championship titles in 2014 and 2015.

Career
Rosendahl has sailed both keelboats and catamarans on the World Match Racing Tour, giving him invaluable experience as he prepares to serve as grinder on the world’s fastest sail race boats in SailGP Season 2.

His best professional showing to-date came in 2017 when he won the silver medal at the world championships in the M32, highlighting his comfort sailing a variety of classes.

He spent the 2019 season working on a Mini Maxi 72 Vesper.

Personal
Outside of sailing, he enjoys spending time in the gym, doing CrossFit workouts and Olympic weightlifting – a passion he shares with his brother that fuels some great rivalries between the pair.
