Nikki Boniface was one of the female finalists for Emirates Team GBR after the Women’s Pathway Program trails in Plymouth, 2021. After her retirement from Olympic sailing in January 2022, Boniface stepped up to be involved full-time in the British team for Season 3

Boniface learned to sail at the Pevensey Bay Sailing Club on the south coast near Eastbourne. At the age of 12, she got into the Junior National Catamaran Programme, which lead to her selection into the National Youth Sailing Squad at the age of 15. While on the squad, Boniface represented Great Britain at 3 ISAF Youth World Championships.

After 10 years on the British Sailing Team, Boniface stepped back from Olympic sailing at the start of 2022. Her passion for the sport remains strong as she is coaching the N17 on the British Sailing Squad, as well as involved in the development of the female mentor scheme with the British Sailing Team.

When Boniface isn’t sailing, she enjoys catching up with family and friends and spending her time outdoors, whether that be swimming, running, or cycling. Boniface is also a certified personal trainer, working with clients across the south coast.
