SailGP
Arthur Cevey was one of two grinders announced for the Switzerland SailGP Team at the team's unveiling in September 2021.

Youth
Cevey has been involved in intensive sports from an early age. After a successful career as a sprinter in his youth, sailing has been Cevey's life since the age of 14, when he started racing competitively. He joined the CER (Geneva’s regatta training centre) before being called up by professional teams on foiling multihulls such as Team Tilt sailing and Realteam sailing.

Career
Cevey gained experience at Geneva’s regatta training centre, then discovered offshore and fleet racing. In 2013, he started match-racing with the Geneva Match Race Team and improved his strategic skills. In parallel, he did an apprenticeship as a boat builder which allowed him to become boat captain and bring his technical knowledge to the teams he sailed with.

In 2015 he joined Team Tilt and started preparing for the Youth America's Cup 2017 in Bermuda. At the same time he started sailing on multihulls such as D35, M32 and M2, as well as on GC32 foiling boats, the Extreme Sailing Series and AC45. Surfing on that wave he joined Realteam Sailing and became a spare sailor for Alinghi on the Extreme Sailing Series. He then got involved with the new foiling TF35 in 2020, before joining SailGP’s Swiss Team.

Personal
Outside of sailing, Cevey loves extreme sports and always pushes his limits further in enduro bike, freestyle rollerskating, boxing and free diving. He loves high sensations and technical sports.
