SailGP
François Morvan is considered to be one of France’s leading specialists in multihull sailing and he joins the Switzerland SailGP Team during Season 4.

He was France's back-up flight controller in Season 1, working closely with the performance team, and joined the French crew as a permanent member at the start of Season 2.

Youth
Morvan first made a name for himself on the youth international circuit, becoming a world champion in the Hobie Cat 16.

Career
Morvan honed his skills during an Olympic campaign and was the Formula 18 French champion in 2010 and 2011, before shifting his attention to offshore multihull racing.

He joined Spindrift racing in 2013 and was a key member of the team, racing across a variety of multihulls, including D35, Diam24, M32, Spindrift 2, and went on to win the Tour de France Voile 2015. Additionally, he has secured several podium places in the demanding World Match Racing Tour, adding to his wide range of multihull experience - whether in large or small boats, inshore or offshore.

In 2019, he was a member of Spindrift 2 that broke the world record for the time to sail from Ouessant in the English Channel to the equator as part of the Jules Verne Trophy course, completing the journey in four days 20 hours and seven minutes.
