Ryan is an Olympic gold and silver medallist in the double handed 470 class. At RIO 2016 he won his first Olympic medal, a silver and in Tokyo he won gold. He is also a 5-times 470 World Champion and 3-times Australian Match Racing Champion.
Away from sailing Ryan still spends time on the water either kitesurfing or wing foiling and also enjoys cycling, skiing and competing in triathlons.
