SailGP
Anna Weis joined the United States SailGP Team following her top 10 finish in the 2020 Olympic Games, where she competed in the mixed gender foiling Nacra 17 class.
Career
Anna learned to sail in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she was born and raised. Her sailing career has included top 10 at two Radial Youth Worlds, and the 2016 Laser Radial National Champion. In early 2019, she overcame injuries and operations on both arms and began competing in the foiling Nacra 17 alongside past U.S. SailGP Team Wing Trimmer Riley Gibbs. A short time after the operations, the Gibbs/Weis duo won the gold medal at the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, becoming the first US Sailing Team athletes to qualify for Tokyo in the mixed multihull class. They finished in ninth place.

Anna is a senior at Boston University majoring in health science, and is a member of the Boston University Women’s Rowing Team.
