SailGP
At 23, Scott Ewing is the youngest member of the United States SailGP Team but is no stranger to foiling and going fast. He rounds out the American powerhouse grinding squad that is looking to bounce back and challenge for the podium in Season 2.

Youth
Ewing started sailing optis when he was six-years-old at Coral Reef Yacht Club on Biscayne Bay, one of the top youth teams in the country. He joined Next Generation USA as part of the team of American sailors who competed in the 2017 Red Bull Youth America’s Cup and was selected to participate in the first ever US qualifier for the Red Bull Foiling Generation sailing competition.

Career
After a successful youth career, he shifted to the Skiff class and eventually became one of the top 49er sailors in the world, capturing the 2016 national championship and representing the United States at a number of events.

Ewing was a member of US Team Extreme in the 2018 Extreme Sailing Series in Los Cabos alongside SailGP teammates Taylor Canfield and Riley Gibbs. Additionally, he has experience in the Moth and Flying Phantom classes.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Ewing is a diehard fan of the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins.
