Australia executed a stunning comeback to seize victory at the Dubai Sail Grand Prix presented by P&O Marinas to extend its overall season lead to nine points.

The Aussies stormed back after disastrously ending Race Day 1 in eighth place to snatch victory from France and Great Britain in a nail-biting Final that was fought to the finish.

Tom Slingsby's reigning SailGP Champions moved nine points clear of second-place New Zealand with the victory, further staking their claim for a place in this season's Grand Final.
